Technical theatre (encompassing both design and construction techniques)
Theatre Conservatory students may also take vocal and dance classes to enrich their performance skills and participate in masterclasses by industry professionals on a variety of specialized topics throughout the year. Theatre Conservatory students put the skills they learn in the classroom into practice by participating in the public performances that are part of the production season (4 to 8 different productions per year).
Scope & Sequence
9th Grade: Acting I, Technical Theatre I, Musical Theatre I, Fundamentals of Theatre
10th Grade: Acting II,Technical Theatre II, Musical Theatre II, Production Hours
11th Grade: Advanced Drama I OR Acting III, Technical Theatre III, Musical Theatre III, Theatre Literature
12th Grade: Advanced Drama II OR Acting IV, Musical Theatre IV, Dramatic Writing
